Robin Swap is published under the name Robin Swap. For privacy questions, contact adelkhandan4@gmail.com. This policy covers the Robin Swap browser extension. Website hosting providers may separately process ordinary server access logs when you visit the project website.
Website market data
When the Market Lens section comes into view, this website requests public prices and price history directly from Coinbase Exchange. These requests include the selected trading pair and time range; Coinbase may receive your IP address and ordinary network metadata. Requests do not include wallet data and use no credentials or page referrer. Responses are cached temporarily in page memory. See Coinbase’s privacy policy for its practices.
What the extension does
Robin Swap detects full EVM contract addresses in posts on X and Twitter and presents a panel for native ETH-to-token swaps on Robinhood Chain using routes from KyberSwap, with a direct Uniswap V2 WETH/token fallback. A compatible browser wallet is required. The extension does not create a wallet or hold funds.
Toolbar wallet connection
Clicking the extension icon opens a wallet panel. The activeTab and scripting permissions allow a bundled function to access the injected wallet on the active HTTP or HTTPS page after this user action. The panel reads only the public account already authorized for that website, network ID and wallet type. Connect requests account access; Switch requests Robinhood Chain. This panel cannot sign or send transactions. The active hostname is displayed locally and is not sent to the publisher. Connection permissions belong to the active website and are managed by your wallet; they do not grant access across all websites. Restricted browser pages are not supported. No browsing history or page content is read by this toolbar function.
Market charts and external data providers
Opening a token panel requests public market data from GeckoTerminal (api.geckoterminal.com). If that provider is unavailable, DEX Screener (api.dexscreener.com) may supply price and pool information. Requests contain the token or pool address, Robinhood network identifier and selected chart period. These providers receive ordinary network information such as your IP address. Requests do not include your wallet address, trade amount, complete post text, credentials or page referrer. Data is used only to display prices, liquidity, volume and historical charts. It is cached in extension memory for approximately one minute, with a bounded cache; it is not written to persistent storage. Closing the panel stops its automatic refresh. Market pools can differ from the extension’s supported swap route.
Swap routing provider
When you enter an ETH amount or refresh a quote, the extension sends the selected token address and amount to aggregator-api.kyberswap.com for Robinhood Chain routing. When you click Buy on a current quote, it also sends your public wallet address as sender and recipient, the chosen slippage tolerance, a transaction deadline and the route summary to build the transaction. KyberSwap receives your IP address and the application identifier robin-swap. Requests omit credentials, cookies, complete post text and page referrer. Quotes are retained briefly in extension memory and expire; no routing data is stored persistently. The extension validates the router, native input amount, output token, recipient and minimum output in the returned calldata. Your wallet estimates gas and requests your confirmation before sending. Routes depend on available liquidity and provider support; fees may include DEX/network charges and provider positive-slippage collection.
Token logos and project links
Token profiles are requested from GeckoTerminal and, when fields are missing, DEX Screener. They provide project website and X links and token logos. Logo image files may be downloaded from coin-images.coingecko.com, assets.geckoterminal.com or cdn.dexscreener.com without credentials or a page referrer; those hosts receive your IP address and the requested image path. The extension fetches bounded raster images and displays them locally. Profiles and images are cached in memory for up to five minutes. Project links are supplied by third-party providers and are not verified or endorsed by Robin Swap. Project websites and social accounts open only when you click a link and are subject to their own privacy policies.
Information processed
- Website content: the extension reads text in post elements on x.com and twitter.com to locate full contract addresses and highlight them. It does not send the complete post text or feed to a Robin Swap server.
- Wallet and financial information: after you request a wallet connection, it processes your selected public wallet address, selected network, token contract address, entered ETH amount, token metadata, pool responses, quotes, gas estimates and transaction parameters. If you approve a transaction, the wallet may return a transaction hash for display.
- Local interactions: hovering or clicking a detected address and choosing an amount are used to operate the panel. The extension does not send interaction analytics to the publisher.
How information is used and shared
Information is used only to detect contracts, display token and route information, obtain quotes, and prepare the transaction you request. The extension communicates with your installed wallet using its browser provider. The wallet and its configured RPC provider receive the requests needed to check contracts, quote a swap, estimate gas and, if approved by you, broadcast a transaction. These providers may receive your IP address and request metadata under their own policies.
When adding Robinhood Chain, the extension proposes the RPC endpoint https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com and explorer https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com. Your wallet may use another configured endpoint. Robin Swap does not operate these services.
Transactions you approve are public blockchain records. They may include sender and recipient addresses, amounts and contract calls, and cannot generally be erased by Robin Swap. A quote is not a completed transaction. Your wallet controls signing and submission.
What is not collected by the publisher
The extension contains no publisher analytics, advertising SDK, remote logging service or publisher-operated data collection backend. It does not request seed phrases, private keys, passwords, authentication cookies, contacts or browsing-history access. It does not sell user data, use it for advertising, or use it to assess creditworthiness or eligibility for lending.
Storage and retention
The extension keeps its current panel state in browser memory while the page is open. It does not use extension storage, localStorage or cookies to retain wallet or trade data. Closing the panel does not necessarily clear the selected account from that page's memory; reloading or closing the page clears the extension's in-memory state. Your wallet, RPC provider and the blockchain have separate retention practices.
If you contact support by email, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send will be processed through Gmail to respond to your request. Do not send seed phrases or private keys. Support messages are retained while needed to address your request and relevant operational or legal obligations; you can request deletion by email.
Your choices
You can decline wallet connection or transaction requests, disconnect the site in your wallet, change the extension's site access, or uninstall the extension. Contact the email above about support information you previously provided. The publisher cannot remove public blockchain records or data held independently by wallet and RPC providers.
Security and limited use
Configured external network endpoints use HTTPS. The wallet controls private keys and signing. Robin Swap uses and transfers information received through the extension only for the user-facing functionality described here, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes
We will update this policy when relevant functionality or data practices change. The effective date above identifies this version.
